Spoiler Free Reviews – Prey

Mark my words. Prey is the best Predator movie of the lot. Yes, better than the Arnie classic. This is how the franchise should have started in my view. I love the fateful beauty of it all, with the indigenous people fighting to protect their lands from invaders from across the seas and galaxy.

The dialogue is simple yet effective. I love how this movie borrows heavily from the Dark Horse comic sagas and ties in with the first two Predator movies and the main character is a proper female lead. Not some tick box fancy to satisfy public whims.

Personally I feel this movie is enough and doesn’t need a follow up, but you know how it goes.

Verdict? 3 out of 3 red dots.
