Movie Review – Thor: Love & Thunder (spoiler free)

Hela’s tits. Thor Love And Thunder seemingly had potential to build upon Thor Ragnarok, and be truly epic. But in the end it whimpered like a suckling pup.

Without sounding too much of a purist, Gorr The God Butcher is one of the best comic book villains created in the last 10-15 years by Marvel. The Gorr God Butcher/Bomb saga is easily my favourite Asgardian adventure alongside War Of Hammers.

Taika Waititi simply turned this movie in soppy romcom which was annoying from beginning to end. It should have been dark and foreboding like Dr Strange Multiverse Of Madness. Instead I was watching something that resembled Chitty-Chitty Bang Bang, with Gorr more like The Child Snatcher and don’t get me started on the goats.

I could rant some more, but I’ll leave up to you to watch and decide. Personally I wouldn’t bother. It’s a waste of your time and casting talent.
